The official houseblessing of Kurt and
Sarina Peavler's new home, the 13th consecutive student-built
ISU-IWU Habitat for Humanity home took place on Saturday.

With the receipt of a $10,000 award from State Farm Insurance, the
two chapters reach their goal of raising %50,000 for the home.

A gourmet burrito and drink for a $5 donation, all proceeds to benefit the collegiate home.

All the proceeds from a day of paintballing at Sudden Impact in Mclean were

The Noodles Restaurant on main street donates $200!!!.
October 20, 2007 Class raises over $1,000
The ISU Politics and Government Community Service Seminar sponsored a Bags Tournament on October 20th.
The event and other fundraising activities raised $1,130.
October 31, 2007 Trick or Treat
raises $15,290
Over 400 hundred ISU and IWU students participated in the annual Trick or Treat for Change on Halloween night. The students raised over $10,000 that night (half the amount in coins) and a late contribution from a member of the ISU Board of Trustees raised the total over $15,000.

8, 2007: Groundbreaking!
The official groundbreaking of the 13th consecutive student-built ISU-IWU Habitat for Humanity House Saturday, September 8, 12:00 p.m. 21 Ridgewood Trail, Woodbury Estates Subdivision, off Miller Road in Bloomington, IL.
This year, we have the honor and privilege to build with the Peavler family: Kurt, Sarina, Kobe and Trinity. (picture thumbnail)
April 22, 2007: Outstanding!
Kellie Gilliland, president of the ISU Habitat for Humanity student chapter, 2005-2007, receives the Outstanding Student Leader of the Year Award at the Twelfth annual Student Involvement Recognition Ceremony sponsored by the Dean of Students office and the Student Alumni Council.
The completion of the 12th consecutive ISU\IWU Collegiate Home was celebrated with the houseblessing Cynthia and Rakeem Harris' home in the Woodbury estates subdivision in Bloomington. The two student chapters raised over $40,000 to support the construction of the home -- a new record.
