SCHOLAR-EDUCATOR POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIPS IN NEUROSCIENCE AND BEHAVIOR

The Program of Excellence in Neuroscience and Behavior (POENB) at Illinois State University invites applications for two postdoctoral fellowships. The POENB program (www.lilt.ilstu.edu\POENB) brings together 12 faculty from four departments at ISU (Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Psychology and Philosophy) and the Central Illinois Neuroscience Foundation, offering unique research opportunities in the fields of behavioral neuroscience, preclinical neuroscience, behavioral ecology, ecological physiology, immunology, neurochemistry and analytical chemistry. These two-year fellowships are especially designed for individuals with strong interests in combining research and education training at the postdoctoral level and in interdisciplinary research bridging neuroscience and behavior. Responsibilities include developing an independent research program with a POENB faculty sponsor, collaborating on research with POENB faculty and undergraduate, M.S. and Ph.D. students, and mentored teaching of one course per year.
